After spending the past few weeks reflecting on love—how it shows up in everyday moments, how it speaks through love languages, and how it ultimately points us to the greatest love of all: Jesus.
So when our Galentines Day arrived, we gathered with friends to celebrate.
It was everything we hoped it would be: warm conversations, laughter, shared stories, and the simple joy of being together.
And somewhere in the middle of all that love and laughter… even the cats decided they wanted in on the celebration, lol.
Dressed in their Cupid collars and hearts, they reminded us of something we’ve been talking about the last few weeks: love doesn’t always show up in grand or serious ways. Sometimes it looks playful. Sometimes it looks silly. Sometimes it looks like whiskers, wings, and a whole lot of personality. And sometimes it even looks like a grilled cheese bar.
And honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Love in Real Life
This gathering wasn’t about perfection or presentation. It was about connection.
Love showed up in hugs at the door.
In conversations we didn’t want to end.
In friends showing up for one another.
In laughter that filled the room.
The kind of love we’ve been writing about wasn’t just something we talked about—it was something we experienced.
Even the cats seemed to understand.
A Gentle Turning of the Season
As joyful as this celebration was, we will soon see and feel the season shift.
After the laughter and pink and red decorations are put away, Lent quietly meets us with a different invitation—an invitation to keep the pace slow, to reflect, and to prepare our hearts for Easter.
Moments like this remind us why that preparation matters.
Because love isn’t only found in celebration—it’s also found in stillness, reflection, and the quiet places where God gently draws us closer.
So once again… turn up the quiet.
Carrying Love Forward
This Galentine’s celebration felt like a beautiful moment in our Love Month—a reminder that love is meant to be shared, enjoyed, and celebrated with one another.
And now, we carry that warmth with us into the quieter season ahead.
From laughter…
to reflection.
From celebration…
to preparation.
Love is still leading the way.
