Time to Sparkle, Shine & Be…

Not every night goes as planned.
Some nights arrive glowing, wrapped in sparkle and wonder.
This night? Pure sparkle magic.

Last year we were in New York for Christmas.  This year we decided to bring that fun and magic to us—and not just anywhere. We checked into the beautiful Read House in Chattanooga and fully leaned into our sparkle with their Hotsie Totsie package. If you know, you know. And if you don’t… just trust me: it’s vintage glamour with a wink.

From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into another era. Velvet. Mood lighting. Old-school elegance that practically begs you to dress up and play along.

So we did.

Stripes, Sparkle & a Little Bit of Mischief

We dressed up—matching red-and-white stripes, fluffy heels, champagne in hand—and decided that if we were going to do this, we were going to do it all the way. Because why not? Life is short. And joy looks good on us.

This wasn’t just a staycation.
It was a mother-daughter glam photo shoot, a celebration of us, of laughter, of memories that don’t need a reason beyond because we can.

We laughed until our cheeks hurt.
We toasted to the moment before the moment was even over.
We leaned into the silliness and the sweetness at the same time.

Bringing the Magic Home

New York has its magic, sure. But that night, Chattanooga did too.

The Read House gave us the perfect backdrop to slow down, dress up, and remember that some of the best memories aren’t about where you go—they’re about who you’re with and how fully you show up.

This night was about choosing joy.
About saying yes to play.
About being PRESENT, dressed to the nines, and laughing like nobody was watching.

And honestly? I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
